Mephisto BYLBA gabin is a new style sandal on a new sole unit.  The sole unit is lovely and flexible with a good weight rubber sole that has a very good tread on it.  It has a nubuck insole that will help to keep your feet cool and dry.  Within the sole there is a latex layer and a shock absorber which will help to relieve the jarring of your joints associated with walking.  It has a buckle strap fastening around the ankle and heel, however, the strap across the toes isn't adjustable but it is made from a nice soft leather and it isn't too narrow.
